Locum Tenens Ocala, Florida (Emergency Medicine Openings)

Clinical Role: Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for multiple sites in the Ocala area ASAP start with anticipated 12 year duration Shift times: 7a7p and 7p7a at most locations, plus two daily 8-hour shifts available Orientation provided shadow shift on day one

Practice Environment: Ocala is a Level II Trauma Center (ACS Level I equivalent) Facilities include a mix of FSEDs and hospital-based EDs EM residency program and APP training program in place APP coverage varies by location and shift

Patient Mix: FSEDs: Level 3 patients and Level 4/5 cases Ocala/WM: Primarily Level 3 patients (abdominal pain, chest pain, etc.) High-acuity main ED cases only if physician requests

Procedural Requirements: Must be proficient in all emergency care procedures: Central access Arterial line placement Lumbar puncture Intubation Pacing Orthopedic stabilization, and more

Candidate Requirements: Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine after successful completion of an accredited residency FM/IM physicians considered for FSEDs with 3+ years of EM experience
