Licensed Clinician - Student Counseling
Henderson Behavioral Health, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is currently seeking a Lead Licensed Mental Health Counselor for our Student Counseling Services, to work part time 8-16 hours per week at the Student Counseling Center at Nova Southeastern University Tampa Campus. This position will provide counseling to students who have a wide range of concerns and will provide outreach and education to all students as requested by the university. This position interacts regularly with university leadership, is part of our larger student counseling treatment team and is supervised by the student counseling services director. This position includes working some evening hours and requires availability to work occasional irregular hours, including weekends, for provision of crisis services, educational workshops, training sessions or orientations. Direct services are provided via face-to-face in office 8 hours a week and an additional hour up to another 8 hours per week remotely via Telehealth platform. This position requires a master’s degree and license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD., Psy.D.). Minimum three years of direct related experience providing counseling, experience serving the young adult population preferred.
