Senior Architectural Millwork Engineer
We’re hiring a Senior Architectural Millwork Engineer to lead the drafting and engineering of high-end architectural millwork, cabinetry, and custom furniture for luxury residential projects. This role blends technical design, team leadership, and coordination from concept through fabrication.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and engineer detailed shop drawings for approval and fabrication
- Lead, mentor, and review work from the drafting team (redlines/QA)
- Coordinate with project management, field teams, and fabrication to maintain schedules and quality
- Create material and parts lists; perform shop inspections
- Update as-built drawings and ensure constructability
Requirements
- Deep expertise in custom millwork, cabinetry, joinery, and materials
- Strong knowledge of integrated hardware and appliance coordination
- Proven leadership in drafting/engineering teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and client-focused communication
