Guardrail Foreman - Heavy Highway Construction
Heavy Highway Construction contractor is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Guardrail Foreman to join our team—in the Jacksonville, Fl area. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a crew of installers and laborers, read plans, lay out projects, operate a post pounder, and have a CDL Class A license. Occasional out-of-town work may be required, should be available to work overtime & some weekends if needed. This is a full-time permanent position. *****Relocation assistance will be negotiated. Responsibilities: Lead a crew of installers and laborers in the installation of guardrail systems on highways and roadways
Read and interpret construction plans
Lay out projects using stringline
Operate a post pounder
Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with FDOT specifications
Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Guardrail Foreman
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Ability to lay out projects using stringline
Ability to operate a post pounder
CDL Class A license (a plus)
Must pass FDOT physical
Must pass a drug test
