Our team is growing, we’re looking for a Lead Commercial Electrician to join our growing electrical division and lead crews on commercial projects with safety, quality, and professionalism.

Position Overview

The Lead Commercial Electrician oversees electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial job sites while supervising a team of electricians and apprentices. This role ensures all work meets NEC standards, project specifications, and company quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a crew of electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Interpret and execute electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications in compliance with NEC and local building codes.
• Oversee installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and controls
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project coordination, proper material management, and timely completion.
• Mentor and train apprentices, enforce job site safety protocols, and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Leadership & Accountability: Leads electrical crews with confidence, delegates effectively, and ensures all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• ​​​​​​​ Technical Expertise: Demonstrates advanced knowledge of commercial electrical systems, NEC codes, blueprints, and complex installations 
• Communication & Collaboration: Builds clear communication with team members, project managers, and contractors to coordinate tasks and maintain project alignment.
• Problem Solving & Decision Making: Identifies issues quickly, makes sound field decisions under pressure, and delivers practical, code-compliant solutions 
• Training & Resource Management: Mentors apprentices, manages time and materials efficiently, and promotes continuous learning and professionalism on the job site.
