Position Overview
As an HVAC Technician at E&E Gliddon Home Services, you will install, service, and repair residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. You’ll work directly with customers, ensuring their comfort while upholding our company’s high standards for quality workmanship and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and ductwork.
- Perform new equipment installations in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and tune-ups.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining service needs and available options.
- Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations for future service.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair experience (preferred).
- EPA 608 Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
