Assistant Manager – Seafood Market & Full-Service Restaurant

Clearwater, FL | Full-Time | $50,000–$55,000 annually

The Opportunity

This is not a typical restaurant management role. We are a one-of-a-kind hybrid concept — a high-end seafood market and a premier full-service dining room operating under one roof in the heart of Clearwater. We are a genuine community fixture, known for exceptional quality and a guest experience that keeps people coming back.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is a floor general — someone who owns the dining room, leads with presence, and has the organizational instincts to help run a serious operation.

The Role

This position is FOH-focused at its core. You will lead the service team, build relationships with our regulars, and ensure every shift runs with precision and warmth.

That said, we believe great leaders understand the whole house. You will be trained on BOH basics and market operations so you can support the entire team when it counts. Prior BOH experience is a strong plus — but what matters most is the willingness to learn and the pride to do it right.

What You'll Own

• Lead daily FOH operations — floor flow, seating, pacing, and guest transitions during high-volume service
  
• Train, mentor, and hold your team accountable to a high standard of hospitality
  
• Serve as the primary guest contact — handling any situation with professionalism and genuine care
  
• Assist with inventory management for premium seafood and market provisions
  
• Support the GM with scheduling, cash handling, and health and safety compliance
  
• Step behind the line or onto the market floor during peak times as needed
  

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant environment
  
• Strong FOH management skills and a polished, professional demeanor
  
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management preferred
  
• A dependable, lead-by-example approach — no role is beneath you on a busy night
  
• Ability to reliably commute to Clearwater, FL
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$55,000 per year, commensurate with experience
