Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Schedule: 8am- 4pm

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining inventory while ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Prepare and stage outgoing orders for delivery
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks using proper procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry tasks
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and HACCP food safety guidelines
• Organize and store products in appropriate warehouse areas (dry, refrigerated, freezer)
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or food distribution preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, FIFO) is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures (dry, refrigerated, freezer environments)
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
