Accounting Assistant

As we grow, we are looking for a reliable and organized Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. Position Summary:
This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, managing trust accounts, and supporting overall financial compliance within the firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Handle accounts payable.
- Process case cost and settlements.
- Ensure compliance with trust accounting and IOLTA rules.
- Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and assist accounting on daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of trust accounting and legal billing practices.
- Familiarity with case management software a plus.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
