Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our Title Remittance, Claims, Rate Calculator, and ePayment Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, maximizing value delivery, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, business stakeholders, implementation, and support teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for title remittance, claims, rate calculator, and ePayment systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams, to gather requirements and prioritize features.
  • Backlog Management: Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog with prioritized user stories and tasks, and ensure timely delivery of product increments.
  • User Experience : Work closely with developers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for all systems.
  • Stakeholder Communications: Engage with customers to understand their needs, identify trends, and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
  • Agile Methodology: Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, scrum ceremonies, and retrospectives, ensuring the team is aligned and focused on delivering value.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Collaborate with security, infrastructure teams to ensure that all products meet corporate policies and industry standards for security and privacy.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and task completion using project management tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and updated documentation related to product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in financial services, payment processing or title insurance industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple Products and priorities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of title remittance, claims processing, rate calculations, and electronic payment systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification in Product Management or related fields (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Basic understanding of product development processes and user-centered design principles.

Physical Demands:

This role is mostly sedentary and requires the ability to sit for long periods each day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate orally and through e-mail. The employee uses hands and fingers to type, handle, and reach. The ability to operate office machinery such as computer, phone, copier, printer, etc. in the commission of daily duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
