We are looking for Cafeteria Attendant to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.
Set to open its doors in 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.

JOB OVERVIEW
Under the general guidance of the Sous Chef, the Staff Café Attendant plays an essential role in supporting our Heart of House by maintaining a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked team dining environment. This role ensures our colleagues are cared for with the same level of attention, warmth, and quality that defines our brand.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and maintain team member cafeteria with attention to cleanliness, presentation, and organization.
- Ensure food stations are fully stocks, replenished, and presented in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, service stations, and equipment.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and supplies
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Support basic food preparation and service as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Provide warm, friendly, and professional experience for all team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual on the team to perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
Qualifications
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Previous experience in food service, cafeteria, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team oriented with a positive and service-driven attitude,
- Basic understanding of food safety standards
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departments
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift
- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes
