Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Education: No Degree Required Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process an exceptionally high volume of Accounts Payable, estimated at 3,500 to 4,000 invoices per month.
- Execute full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, including GL and cost center coding, as well as managing complex payment runs (ACH, wire, and check).
- Perform accurate and timely 3-way matching (PO, Invoice, BOL/Receipt).
- Manage vendor setup, vendor reconciliations, and correspondence, proactively resolving vendor account discrepancies.
- Process payments and maintain compliance, including assisting with the 1099 process and preparing Releases of Lien where necessary.
- Maintain daily communication and collaboration with vendors, business stakeholders, and an internal accounting department of 15–20 members.
- Provide support during month, quarter, and year-end close and audit processes.
