Business Systems Analyst
Kforce has a client in need of a Business Systems Analyst in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current state of systems and business processes
- Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
- Gather, define, and validate business and functional requirements
- Execute QA testing to validate system behavior and business rules
- Support UAT preparation, execution, and defect tracking
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and product management
- Translate business needs into system requirements and user stories
- Maintain and update system documentation following standards
- Assist with process mapping, workflows, and data analysis
- Support implementation efforts and post-launch validation
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Promotes transparency and open communication
- Continuously learns and stays current in area of expertise
- Strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience with QA testing (web or command line)
- Proficient in SQL including joins and unions
- Basic Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and formulas
- Ability to gather and document functional requirements
