Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to patients within a hospital rehabilitation unit. The position is suitable for a licensed healthcare professional with inpatient therapy experience and is focused on delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Gainesville, FL
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist. BLS certification. No minimum experience requirement.
• Unit Information:
  • Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Staff: 22 clinical staff members including PT/OT/SLP/Technicians
  • Patient Ratios: 7:1
  • Equipment: Balance and Gait Systems, typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
  • Documentation System: Meditech (Expanse)
  • Call Requirements: Weekend rotation
• Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Patient evaluations, activities of daily living training, transfers, family/patient education, gait training, therapeutic exercises, functional training
• Additional Information:
  • Unit is in a newly established hospital and unit, starting up on 05/05.
  • Dress code: Scrubs in light gray.
  • Experience with inpatient therapy and adaptability to a fast-paced environment preferred.
