Overview: Coastal Health, a leading multi-specialty medical group in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Phone Representative to join our team at one of our busy primary care offices. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicates clearly, and is passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare needs.

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

• Provide accurate information regarding services, office policies, and procedures

• Route calls and messages to appropriate clinical and administrative staff

• Verify insurance information and assist with patient registration as needed

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a medical office or call center preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
