Painter
The Tampa Bay Rays are looking for an experienced Painter to efficiently undertake a variety of painting projects ranging from small touch ups to painting large offices at Tropicana Field.
Responsibilities
Work as self-directed
- Maintain standard in all areas of inside Tropicana Field building
- Set up schedules for painting offices, work and common areas
- Develop relationship with local Sherman Williams store
- Understand and oversee cost and usage of paint and supplies
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of painting experience preferred
- Solid understanding of different types of paints-latex, oil & water base, acrylic, primers, and paints for both inside and outside.
- Knowledge of painting finishes and tools-naps, rollers, brushes, etc.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime
- Able to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment
- Knowledge and ability to use ladders & aerial lifts / not afraid of heights
- Valid Driver’s License
