**Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter**
**Pay: $19 an hour**
**Shift: M-F 6 am to 2:45 pm**
**Location: Northwest Jacksonville, FL (20 minutes from the Stadium)**
**Job Description**
Perform daily cycle counts for parts, raw materials, and finished goods used in tank fabrication. Locate, identify, and count inventory across the shop floor, warehouse, paint department, and staging areas, which involves a significant amount of walking and standing. Accurately measure plate, pipe, and fittings using a tape measure to verify dimensions. Follow the current paper-based count process and record counts clearly for reconciliation. Investigate basic variances and escalate issues as needed, coordinating with production, receiving, and shipping to support inventory accuracy improvements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory including parts, raw materials, and finished goods.
+ Identify and locate inventory across various departments including the shop floor, warehouse, and staging areas.
+ Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to verify dimensions.
+ Follow paper-based processes to record inventory counts and assist in reconciliation.
+ Investigate inventory variances and escalate issues when necessary.
+ Coordinate with production, receiving, and shipping to enhance inventory accuracy.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience in inventory cycle counting.
+ 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production facility.
+ Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure for accurate material measurement.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders throughout the shift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Basic office and administrative skills with familiarity in Excel for data entry.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.
+ Forklift operation experience is highly desirable.
+ Detail-oriented with reliable and legible handwriting.
+ Self-starter capable of working in a high-volume environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in an industrial facility building metal tanks from the ground up, including fabrication, welding, and coating/painting. The environment is non-climate controlled, with exposure to varying temperatures, steel, and paint. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection are required. The role involves a focus on the shop floor and warehouse, with extended periods of walking and standing, and occasional use of steps and ladders. Overtime may be required.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
