401K Data Reconciliation Analyst
Kforce has a client that is seeking a 401K Data Reconciliation Analyst in Lakeland, FL. Duties Include:
- Collaborate with the 401(k) Administrator, Director of People and Culture, and potentially external auditors to understand the scope and nature of the reconciliation project
- Review and analyze 1-2 years of 401(k) deferral data to identify discrepancies and determine the necessary corrections for each participant
- Complete and reconcile QNEC (Qualified Non-Elective Contribution) spreadsheets provided by the Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
- Research and resolve approximately 50 participant discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all data sets
- Perform data mapping and matching between census files and plan data to validate contributions and correct errors
- Utilize Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and PivotTables to analyze, track, and reconcile data
- Review census data line by line to ensure all participant information is accurate and complete
- Communicate findings and updates to the internal team, TPA, and other stakeholders as needed
- Prior experience working with 401(k) data or employee benefits is preferred, though extensive 401(k) expertise is not required
- Familiarity with retirement plan concepts, contribution structures, and general benefits terminology
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and reconciling data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a project-based environment
