Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will play a key role in architecting systems, implementing back-end services, conducting code reviews, and optimizing performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Because this position supports a Federal Contract, all employees assigned to this contract must be U.S. citizens; a person born or naturalized in the United States. Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable system architecture
- Implement and maintain back-end services
- Write, test, and review clean, efficient code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming, with emphasis on Laravel PHP
- Experience with Relational Databases ( MySQL preferred )
- Hands-on experience with Laravel queues
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting range: $70,000 – $150,000; Based on experience
