PR & Media Specialist (FILIPINO APPLICANT ONLY)

**Key responsibilities:**

* Develop and execute public relations and media outreach strategies that increase brand visibility and credibility.
* Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
* Research, identify, and pitch compelling story ideas to journalists, editors, producers, and media outlets.
* Secure media placements in financial publications, business news outlets, trade publications, podcasts, newsletters, and other relevant channels.
* Coordinate podcast interviews, media interviews, speaking engagements, and other thought leadership opportunities for company executives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and media contacts.
* Develop and maintain media lists and outreach databases.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify newsworthy company announcements, product launches, and industry insights.
* Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR campaign performance and brand exposure.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor coverage, and emerging media opportunities.
* Ensure all public-facing communications align with the company's messaging, branding, and compliance requirements.

**Requirements:**

* 4+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, or a similar role.
* Proven success securing media coverage through strategic outreach and relationship building.
* Experience pitching stories to financial, business, or professional publications.
* Existing relationships with journalists, editors, producers, or media outlets are highly preferred.
* Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
* Experience writing and distributing press releases.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

**Nice to have:**

* Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Experience working with financial services, investment firms, fintech, legal, or other regulated industries.
* Experience securing placements in publications such as Forbes, Investopedia, Seeking Alpha, Yahoo Finance, or similar high-authority outlets.
* Familiarity with SEO and content marketing to maximize the reach of media coverage.
