Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for our retail and outlet stores. This role requires a keen understanding of the retail industry, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to source, assess, and hire candidates who align with Perry Ellis's values and culture.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for retail and outlet positions.
Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Build and maintain a strong network of candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and industry events.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job openings to negotiating offers.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor practices.
Partner with store managers to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Retail Recruiter, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
In-depth knowledge of retail and outlet store operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
